TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HODDESDON 018
NOTICE is given that Broxbourne Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using the entire length of Hoddesdon Footpath 018, running from Hoddesdon 056 to Essex Road for an approximate distance of 865 metres.
The alternative route for pedestrians for Hoddesdon Footpath 018 will be via - Essex Road (Northwards), Essex Road (Westwards), Hoddesdon Footpath 054 (Southwestwards) towards Conduit Lane East.
The purpose of the Order is to allow Broxbourne Borough Council contractors to carry out maintenance works.
Footpath Hoddesdon 018 will be closed on or after 12 July 2026 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.
Works are expected to take 4 weeks to complete.
