TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF
BRIDLEWAY 8, WALDRINGFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Bridleway 8, Waldringfield to facilitate safety during earth works to create a suitable alternative natural green space. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be shown on site.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/07/2026 - 30/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A12
MAIN ROAD A1094 FRIDAY STREET, BENHALL
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the:
- A12 Main Road, Benhall (northbound only) from the junction with Park Road to the junction with the B1121
- A1094 Friday Street, Benhall from the junction with the A12 for 152 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate resurfacing of a new roundabout. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A12, the A1152, the B1069, the A1094, the B1069, the B1122 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/07/2026 - 19/07/2026 from 8pm to 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019 (PARISH OF IPSWICH)
(GORDON ROAD) (U2622) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING)
(VARIATION NO.53) ORDER 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which would substitute revision 1 of Map Tile GI126 in place of revision 0 and substitute revision 2 of Map Tile GJ126 in place of revision 0 of the same Map Tiles, into the above-named 2019 Order. The effect of this would be to introduce:
• No stopping at any time on footway’ on:
• East side of Gordon Road (U2622), Ipswich, from its junction with Woodbridge Road (A1071), Ipswich for a distance of 132 metres in a southerly direction, ending opposite property no. 30.
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services; and for fulfilling statutory duties. There are the usual exemptions for Blue Badge holders.
Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the Council’s reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; also at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich IP1 3DE during Monday: 9am - 6pm, Tuesday: 9am - 7pm, Wednesday: 9am - 6pm, Thursday: 9am - 6pm, Friday: 9am - 7pm, Saturday: 8.30am - 5pm and Sunday: 10am - 4pm.
Objections and any other representations relating to these proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must reach Jacob Davis-Sturman, Suffolk County Council Legal Services at the address below or at: jacob.davis-sturman@suffolk.gov.uk no later than 22/07/2026.
