Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 1 Gorffennaf 2026, sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Bishopswood Road, Prestatyn, yn Sir Ddinbych tua’r gorllewin o’i chyffordd gyda Hillside, am bellter o oddeutu 900 metr.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o roi wyneb newydd, a wneir gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Nid oes llwybr arall ar gael.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 20 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 2 Awst 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

BISHOPSWOOD ROAD, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 1st July 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using Bishopswood Road Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh, extending westerly from its junction with Hillside for a distance of approximately 900 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

There is no alternative route available.

The Order is effective from 20th July 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 2nd August 2026.
