We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Langton to Eddlethorpe Hall, Langton for a temporary period of 3 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 06/07/26 & 28/08/26, due to bridge repair works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Newgate, Malton, Order 2026, No. 349
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Newgate, Malton for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 20/07/26 & 31/12/26, due to footway, kerbing & road marking works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Newgate, Malton, Order 2026 No 342
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Newgate, Malton due to kerbing works. The max duration of this Order will be from 14/07/26 until 31/12/26 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in place for 2 weeks during this timescale. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 37, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that on 26/06/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-
Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Roads In The Village of Warthill, Prohibition of Waiting At All Times
Common Lane, West side from its junction with Holtby to Warthill Road, to a point 20 metres north of the centre line of its junction with the Road to Agar Arms.
Holtby to Warthill Road, West side from its junction with Common Lane, to a point 64 metres south of the centre line of its junction with the Road to Agar Arms.
A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 06/07/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Stamford Bridge Library, Church Road, Stamford Bridge, York, YO41 1BP during normal office hours from 01/07/26 to 07/08/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 26/06/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose. 20 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, Helmsley, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road specified below:-

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Moor Lane, Thornton Le Clay for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 20/07/26 & 31/07/26, due to Quickline Communications installing new duct in the verge & carriageway. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/08/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
