(Various Roads, Cambridge) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 202-

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Cambridge on the roads listed in the schedule below:

Barton Road From its junction with Newnham Road
until a point approximately 40 metres
west of its junction with Grange Road.

The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned by appointment only, during normal office hours or on the website: https://consultation.appyway.com/.  

Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned, or submitted to us using the https://consultation.appyway.com/portal, troconsultation.responses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 5th August 2026 quoting reference PR1228. 

Comments will be used as part of our consultation process and may be published, anonymised, in reports to Committees.
