Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Order The Cornwall Council (Public Footpath No. 6 (Part) St Ervan and Public Footpath No. 9 (Part) St Eval) (Land at Penrose)
On 20 November 2025, Cornwall Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert a length of a length of Public Footpath number 6 in the Parish of St Ervan commencing at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 6 St Ervan to be retained approximately 319 metres south-west of "Trevio" at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 87056/71220 then continuing in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of 170 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 9 St Eval to be extinguished by this Order approximately 381 metres west-south-west of "Trevio" at OSGR SW 86907/71299.
Then continuing in a generally north-north-westerly direction for 53 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 9 St Eval to be retained approximately 396 metres west-south-west of "Trevio" at OSGR SW 86876/71342 to a revised line commencing at its junction with a length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Ervan to be retained approximately 319 metres south-west of "Trevio" at OSGR SW 87056/71220 then continuing in a north-north-westerly direction then westerly direction for 199 metres terminating at its junction with a Public Footpath to be created by this Order in the Parish of St Eval approximately 374 metres west-south-west of "Trevio" at OSGR SW 86908/71316.
A length of Public Footpath in the Parish of St Eval commencing at its junction with a Public Footpath in the Parish of St Ervan then continuing in a generally north-north-westerly direction for 42 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 9 St Eval to be retained approximately 396 metres west-south-west of "Trevio" at OSGR SW 86876/71342.

Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk.
The order came into force on the date on which the order was confirmed, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from the date of this Notice, make application to the High Court.
