What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – HARBRIDGE DROVE & ALDERHOLT ROAD, ELLINGHAM, HARBRIDGE AND IBSLEY, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
That part of Harbridge Drove & Alderholt Road between its junction with Hillbury Road and its junction with B3081 Verwood Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
B3081, Champtoceaux Avenue, Edmondsham Road, Lane from Oak Trees Farm to Edmondsham Road, Lane from Oak Tree Farm to Mill Lane, Lane from Mill Lane to Batterley Drove, Batterley Drove, B3078, Hillbury Road.
DURATION OF ORDER:
From 13th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:00).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet UK LTD to carry out installation of 9 poles. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: Thomas.cowan@circet.co.uk
Circet UK LTD will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
