Tices Meadow - Temporary Footpath Closure Due To Duct Installation Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE - TICES MEADOW FOOTPATH, ALDERSHOT, RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Tices Meadow Footpath between its junctions with house numbers 72 and 74.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: follow to loop round heading South from house number 74 to house number 89, then head West to house number 55, then North to house number 68

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).

The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for KNTC LTD to carry out installation of duct. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: frankie.low@kntc.co.uk

KNTC LTD will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
