What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 27 (PART) AND 28 (PART)
STAFFORD PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following sections of Public Footpath:

- Public Footpath No. 28 Stafford Parish from its junction with Warrens Lane for approximately 20 metres in a westerly direction and then continuing for approximately 341 metres in a generally southerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 27 Stafford Parish, at the southern end of Warrens Lane.

- Public Footpath No. 27 Stafford Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 28 Stafford Parish at the southern end of Warrens Lane for approximately 231 metres in a generally south westerly direction to its junction with B.O.A.T 

Stafford 55 and continuing for 323 metres in a south easterly direction and then continuing for approximately 210 metres in a north easterly direction and then continuing for approximately 100 metres in a generally southerly direction and then continuing in a north easterly direction for approximately 186 metres and then continuing for approximately 459 metres in a generally south easterly direction and then continuing for approximately 108 metres in a north easterly direction to its junction with the Doxey to Beaconside Greenway.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to floodplain restoration works, carried out by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.

This closure is planned to last for 4 weeks, depending on weather conditions. The path will be reopened once the works are completed.

No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 13/7/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. 

If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Staffordshire County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to impose a 20MPH speed limit on Yarnfield Parkway, Stone.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 30/6/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:

Bishton Ln, Bishton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150606791. The Order will come into operation on 6/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/12/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge refurbishment works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Arthur St, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149662961. The Order will come into operation on 6/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Cash Ln, Garmelow. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149620414. The Order will come into operation on 6/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 20/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecom pole works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 20/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecom pole works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 21/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT carriageway box works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 20/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT ducting works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

Walton Ln, Brocton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149812243. The Order will come into operation on 20/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
