What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: Section 14 - (Hadleigh) (Footpath 34) - (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

This order, which came into effect on the 22/03/2026 closing footpath 34, Hadleigh at the bridge has been extended in force by the Minister until 01/09/2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

This closure remains required due to safety reasons due to a damaged bridge. Without extension the order would have been in effect until 01/09/2026.

There is no diversion route.
