TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – THE CLIFF, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of The Cliff, Brighton from its junction with Cliff Approach to its junction with Roedean Road. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors on behalf of SGN to install a new gas connection.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
4. This Order comes into force on 20 July 2026 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 28 July 2026.
