TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5904 WESTON ROAD, HINDERCLAY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5904 Weston Road, Hinderclay from 80 metres south of High Street for 40 metres southbound to facilitate a stoptap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Weston Road, Chapel Road, Wattisfield Road, High Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 01/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 11, CLARE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 11, Clare from 385 metres north of the A1092 for 586 metres northbound to facilitate surfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

There is no diversion route.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 17/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1075 GROVE LANE, IPSWICH (THE U2414 KINGS AVENUE AND THE B1075 GROVE LANE, IPSWICH)

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. The U2414 Kings Avenue, Ipswich from Grove Lane to number 45 Kings Avenue
2. The B1075 Grove Lane, Ipswich from St Helens Street to Back Hamlet.

This is to facilitate a highway improvement project. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. (for Kings Avenue) Kings Avenue, Miller Street, Oxford Road, the B1075 Grove Lane and vice versa
2. (for Grove Lane clockwise) the A1156 St Helens Street, the A11156 St Margarets Street, the A1071 Woodbridge Road, the A1071 Woodbridge Road East, the A1214 Woodbridge Road East, the A1189 Heath Road, the B1075 Foxhall Road and no vice versa
3. (for Grove Lane anticlockwise) the B1075 Foxhall Road, the A1189 Heath Road, the A1214 Woodbridge Road East, the A1071 Woodbridge Road East, the A1071 Woodbridge Road, the A1156 Argyle Street, the B1075 St Helens Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

1. 29/06/2026 - 08/10/2026.
2. 29/06/2026 - 29/08/2026 from 7pm - 6am.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be The Street, the B1080, Woodlands Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 10/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4612 Silver Street, Old Newton from Silver Street Barn for 40 metres south.

The diversion will be Silver Street, the B1113, Station Road, Silver Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 01/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C408 Saxham Street, Stowupland from no. 31 to no. 17 to facilitate the installation of a new electrical supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A1120, the A140, Debenham Road Stonham Parva, Road from C566 to Parish Border, Debenham Road Earl Soham, Mendham Green, Debenham Lane, Saxham Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 02/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C767 Borley Road, Long Melford from Sudbury Road to Ropers to facilitate the location and clearance of blockages. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1064, the A134, the A1092, Pentlow Lane, Pentlow Hill, Halstead Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 29/06/2026 8am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A1307, the A11, the A14, the A1302, the A143, the A1307 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 02/07/2026 from 8pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1313 SOTHERTON CORNER AND U1314 KINGS LANE, SOTHERTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. U1313 Sotherton Corner, Sotherton from the junction with Kings Lane to the junction with the A145
2. U1314 Kings Lane, Sotherton from the junction with Sotherton Corner for 1150 metres northbound.

This is to facilitate a new water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. the A145, the B1123, Kings Lane, Blyford, Kings Lane, Henham and vice versa
2. the B1124, the A145, the B1123 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

1. 29/06/2026 - 21/09/2026.
2. 20/07/2026 - 21/09/2026.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U3625 CUMBERLAND STREET, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3625 Cumberland Street, Woodbridge from no. 3A for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate repairs to a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1438, the B1079 and no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the U3625 Cumberland Street, Woodbridge from the junction with Kingston Road to the junction with Quay Street.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 29/06/2026 - 01/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1456 Footway from Garden Close to The Street, Shotley from the side of no. 10 Garden Close for 80 metres southbound to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Garden Close, Orwell View Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 03/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Sherbourne Street, Edwardstone, Sherbourne Street, Boxford, Swan Street, Groton, Church Street, Groton and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/06/2026 - 04/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

• the A1120 Needham Road to Cedars Park Roundabout, Creeting St Peter southbound
• the A1120 Needham Road to Cedars Park Roundabout, Stowmarket southbound

Phase 2

• the A1120 Needham Road to Cedars Park Roundabout, Stowmarket northbound
• the A1120 Needham Road to Cedars Park Roundabout, Creeting St Peter northbound

Phase 3

• the A1120 From Cedars Roundabout to Church Road, Stowupland north from Gun Cotton Way to the junction with the A14 junction 50 Roundabout

Phase 4

• the A1120 From Cedars Roundabout to Church Road, Stowupland south from the junction with the A14 Junction 50 Roundabout to Gun Cotton Way

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• (for phases 1 and 4) the A14, the A1308, the A1120 and no vice versa
• (for phases 2 and 3) the A1120, the A1308, the A14 and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

• 1.8pm on 08/07/2026 - 5am on 09/07/2026
• 2.09/07/2026 - 11/07/2026 from 8pm - 5am
• 3.8pm on 13/07/2026 - 5am on 14/07/2026
• 4.14/07/2026 - 16/07/2026 from 8pm - 5am

There will be a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate on 30/06/2026 from 10.30am - 2.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/07/2026 - 10/07/2026 from 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

This is to facilitate a gas replacement scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
