Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects and titles of which are as follows:

CITY OF MANCHESTER (PARKMOUNT ROAD, SHEPHERD STREET AND ADJOINING ACCESS ROADS, HARPURHEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2026
NO WAITING AND NO LOADING AT ANY TIME:

Access road to rear of 840-854 Rochdale Road, (i) east side from Parkmount Road southerly for 6m, (ii) west side from Parkmount Road southerly for 10m, (iii) west side from 24m south of Parkmount Road southerly for 49m around the turning head. Access road to rear of 820-838 Rochdale Road, (i) west side from 38m north of Shepherd Street northerly for 50m around the turning head, (ii) both sides from Shepherd Street northerly for 10m. Parkmount Road, south side from 19m east of Rochdale Road easterly to 38m east of Rochdale Road. Shepherd Street, north side from 16m east of Rochdale Road south easterly to 42m east of Rochdale Road.

Access road to rear of 820 - 838 Rochdale Road, for its entire length. Access road to rear of 820 - 838 Rochdale Road, for its entire length.

The Order was made on 29th June 2026 and will come into effect on 6th July 2026. A copy of the Order and the plan can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov. uk or inspected at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 29th June 2026 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
