Tidworth - Temporary Footway Closure Due To Openreach Blockage Clearance Works
What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users:
Footway off Merrington Way, Tidworth; from its junction with Nepaul Road to its junction with Merrington Way to enable Openreach to carry out clear blockage and other associated works.
No alternative route is available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order will come into operation on 20 July 2026, and the closure will be required for 3 days. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. For further information please contact Openreach on 08000 859194.
