NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
- Road closed to all vehicles and
- No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Richmond Park Road (A3049), from its junction with Springbourne Roundabout for a distance of approx.83m in a northerly direction
WHY: To facilitate highway improvement works by BCP Council
WHEN: Anticipated dates 20th July 2026 until 17th August 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: via Springbourne Roundabout (A3049), Wessex Way (A338), Richmond Hill Roundabout (A338), Wimborne Road (A347), Charminster Road, Richmond Park Road (A3049)

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
