PROHIBITION OF WAITING ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to remove the existing waiting restrictions on both sides of Hobson Street from Peel Street for 10 metres north easterly and introduce at any time waiting restrictions on:- Brook Street, both sides from Hobson Street for the entire length
Corn Street, west side from 7 metres north of Hobson Street to Oldham Road
Hall Street, both sides from Hobson Street for the entire length
Hobson Street, southerly side from Peel Street to Hall Street
Hobson Street, north side from Peel Street for 10 metres easterly & north side from Linwood Street for 10 metres easterly
Linwood Street, east side from Hobson Street for 18 metres northerly & west side from 24 metres south of Oldham Road for 22 metres southerly

Any objection or representations regarding the proposal should be sent to env.traffic@oldham.gov.uk or Oldham Borough Council, Environment Group Solicitor to the Council, Spindles Shopping Centre West Street, Oldham, OL1 1LF in writing, stating the title of the Order to which they relate and the grounds for making them by 3rd August 2026.
Any objections or representations will be made available for public inspection.
