ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Ring Road St Georges from its
junction with Bilston Road to its junction with Birmingham
Road and Snow Hill.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 2 July 2026 until 8 July 2026, between the
hours of 19:00 and 05:00.
The diversion route is: Ring Road St. Davids, Ring Road
St. Peters, Ring Road St. Andrews, Ring Road St. Marks,
Ring Road St. Mark’s and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing
works by City of Wolverhampton Council.
