Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 17eg Gorffennaf, 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 17eg Gorffennaf 2026.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991

CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(TURKEY SHORE ROAD, HOLYHEAD) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Turkey Shore Road, Holyhead.

The Order is necessary for safe access for the MEWP to work.

The alternative route will be from the southern end of the closure.

Travel in a south easterly direction along Llanfawr Road to the junction with Ffordd Tudur and turn left. 

Then travel in a northerly and then westerly direction along Ffordd Tudur to the junction with Porthdafarch Road and the opposite end of the road closure. Vice versa for traffic travelling from the opposite direction.

The Order comes into effect on 17th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 17th July 2026.
