(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because creating an entrance to Wetherby Girls High School and Temp double yellow lines works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) Leeds City Council intends in (not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hallfield Ln, Wetherby, Leeds in the Wetherby Ward between its Jcts with Third Av to 40m East of Third Av. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Hallfield Ln, Walton Rd, Privas Way, Hudson Way, Rowland Meyrick Way, York Rd. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 20th July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The school entrance works are due to take place from Monday 20th July 2026 until Sunday 9th August 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new electric connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) Leeds City Council intends in (not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to trave) along Broadway, Kirkstall, Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward from the Junction of Hawkswood Cr to No. 35 Broadway. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Hawkswood Cr, Lea Farm Rd, Cragside Walk. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 21st July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 27th July 2026. The closure will be in place between 00:00 and 23:59 hrs on each day. G Moate. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order Leeds Arena – Millennium Square Events – 4,9,10,11,14,15,19 July 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public (holding of event at Millenium Square), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: Great George Str; between its junctions with Calverley St and Dudley Way 14:00 and 23:30 hrs each day; Cookridge St between junction with Great George St and Woodhouse Ln and Rossington Str; St Anne’s St; between its access to The Light Car Park and Cookridge St; The Laybys on Great George St (to the rear of the Town Hall) and in front of the Electric Press Building; except for production vehicles 06:00 and 23:00 each day; Portland Cr; from its jct with Woodhouse Ln (managed access only with no access south of Civic Hall car park entrance) (also closing Portland Gate and Cookridge St north of Vernon St by default). Portland Way; between its junctions with Woodhouse Ln and Calverley St; and Calverley St; between its junctions with Portland St and Portland Way (both emergency evacuation only). A diversionary route will be available via Calverley Street; Portland Way and Woodhouse Lane. To be effective between 16:00-23.30 hrs on 4, 9, 10, 11 July; and 18:00-23:59 hrs on 14, 15 & 19 July; except as detailed before.
