(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering Hampton Street at its junction with Henrietta Street.
The temporary Order is required to enable Installation of Scaffolding for building works to be carried out in safety.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site and access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday 11th July 2026 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
