TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF

PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT

On 22 June 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to proceed on foot (with the exception of persons engaged on Footpath Resurfacing) on Westfield Road, Cumbernauld from remote footpath on Broadwood Farm to McDonalds Restaurant by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

The Order, which will only be operational when displayed by signs, will come into operation at 0800 hours on Thursday, 9 July 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
