Three Gates Lane (D5528) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 26 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Three Gates Lane (D5528) Haslemere as extends from its junction with Highercombe Road (D5528) to the access for St Ives School.

Alternative route – Highercombe Road, A286 (Grayswood Road), Lower Road, The Mount, Clammer Hill and Three Gates Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Holcim UK Limited to facilitate sewer works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 July 2026 for 2 months between the hours of 7.30am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Haste Hill (D5524) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 01 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of that length of Haste Hill (D5524) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5527) The Common and for a distance of 55 metres in southerly direction along Haste Hill. Alternative Route: The Common, Blackdown Lane, and Haste Hill, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate replace/repair fire hydrant within the carriageway for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 11.30pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles, will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Runfold Diversion (A31) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 01 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Runfold Diversion (A31) Farnham as extends from its junction with its slip road leading to (A331) Camberley to its junction with its roundabout with (A31) Shepherd and Flock Roundabout; (b) Runfold Diversion (A31) Farnham as extends from its junction with its roundabout with (A31) Shepherd and Flock Roundabout to its junction with its roundabout with (A331) leading to Tongham Services; (c) Runfold Diversion (A31) Farnham slip road to “Runfold” to its junction with (C121) St Georges Road; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Runfold Diversion (A31) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. Alternative Route: (1) Guildford Road, (A31) Runfold Diversion, St Georges Road, (B3208) Badshot Lea Road, (B3208) Monkton Lane, (B3208) Water Lane, (A325) Farnborough Road, (A31) Shepherd and Flock Roundabout, (A325) Farnborough Road, Queens Roundabout, (A3011) Lynchford Road, Park Road Roundabout, (A331) Blackwater Valley Road, (A31) Runfold Diversion, The Street, (C119) Hogs Back, and Guildford Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate overhead cabling works and/or other associated works for, or on behalf of SSEN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 9pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access is affected by this closure.

D5527 Chase Lane, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 01 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D5527 Chase Lane, Haslemere that extends from the south-eastern side of its junction with the access road for “Woodpeckers”, south-eastwards for a distance of 100m. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole testing and/or replacement and/or to carry out cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. There is no applicable alternative route however access for residents, businesses, emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives.

Arthur Road (D5318) and Woodhill Lane (D118) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Arthur Road (D5318) Farnham as extends from its junction with (X67398) Merlins Close to its junction with (D5318) Arthur Close. Alternative Route: Weydon Hill Road, (B3384) Ridgway Road, (A287) Firgrove Hill, and Arthur Road, or this route in reverse; (b) Woodhill Lane (D118) Farnham as extends from its junction with (D118) Summer Hill Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Spreakfield Cottage”. Alternative Route: Summer

Hill Lane, West End Lane, Shortfield Common Road, and Woodhill Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Morrison Telecom Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Longdene Road (D5523) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Longdene Road (D5523) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (B2131) Wey Hill to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.19 and No.21 Longdene Road; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Longdene Road (D5523) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” in its entirety. Alternative Route: (1) Longdene Road, Courts Hill Road, (A286) Shepherds Hill, and (B2131) Lower Street; (2) (B2131) Lower Street, (A286) Lower Street, (A286) High Street, (A286) Lower Street, (A286) Shepherds Hill, Courts Hill Road, and Longdene Road. This Order is required to facilitate mains water utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access is affected by this closure.

Chase Lane (D5527) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chase Lane (D5527) Haslemere as extends from the western boundary of “Clumber” southwards to the end of the road.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate leak repairs and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 July 2026 for 2 nights between the hours of 7.00pm and

11.59pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Public Footpath 79 (Farnham)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 9 July 2026 Surrey County Council will make the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Footpath 79 (Farnham) from grid ref: 485452 146650 heading north-east for approximately 187 metres to grid ref: 485552 146802.

The Order is necessary in the interest of public safety due to works being undertaken on or near the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of one month from 13 July 2026 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route for traffic from grid ref 485452 146650 will be to head south on Old Compton Lane for 50 metres, then head north on Lynch Road for 120 metres then continue to follow Lynch Road west for 232 metres. Then head north on Broomleaf Road for 188 metres. Then follow Public Footpath 211 (Farnham) north-east for 130 metres. Then follow Public Footpath 80 (Farnham) generally south-east for 246 metres. Then head south on Public Footpath 79 (Farnham) for 132 metres to grid ref: 485552 146802.

The alternative route for traffic from grid ref: 485552 146802 will be the reverse of that described above.

The Public Footpath 79 (Farnham) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026 will be made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
