NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Lily Lane, Bamfurlong) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026 which will come into operation 19th July 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Lily Lane, Bamfurlong on 19th July 2026 between the hours of 08:30 and 13:00 only.
The alternative route for traffic is: Warrington Road – Lodge Lane – East Lancashire Road – Bridge Street – High Street – Ashton Road – Wigan Road – Aye Bridge Road – Warrington Road.
The Order is necessary to allow frame and cover.
Kintbury Street, Bamfurlong – Temporary Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Kintbury Street, Bamfurlong) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026 which will come into operation on 19th July 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Kintbury Street, Bamfurlong on 19th July 2026.
Signed Diversion route will be in place.
The Order is necessary to allow frame and cover.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Blenheim Road, Ashton in Makerfield) (Temporary Closure) 2026 Order which will come into operation on 20th July 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Blenheim Road, Ashton in Makerfield from 20th July 2026 until 06 August 2026.
Access will be maintained for residents where possible.
The Order is necessary to allow sewer repair.
