What is happening?

HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BUSHEY VILLAGE) (DISABLED BAYS, RESTRICTION OF WAITING, RESIDENTS PARKING AND SHARED USE PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hertsmere Borough Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on Monday the 29th of June 2026.

The general effect of the Order would be to introduce—

    • Resident parking places with designated disabled parking places and waiting restrictions in: Falconer Road, Glencoe Road, Rudolph Road, Park Road and Koh-I-Noor Avenue

    • Resident parking places and waiting restrictions in Bournehall Road and Herkomer Road (part)

  • Shared use parking places in Falconer Road and Rudolph Road

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be viewed from 26th of June 2026 during the office hours at Main Reception, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood WD6 1WA or online at www.hertsmere.gov.uk/parking  Enquiries relating to the Order should be referred to the Traffic Engineer or parking.policy@hertsmere.gov.uk

Any persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with, may within six weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
