Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 
The County of Cornwall (Commons Road, Cubert) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Cubert. 

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th July 2026 to 16th July 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Commons Road, Cubert between grid reference SW78384 58532 and the property named Rowan Cottage.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Vounder Clay Works To Grey Farm, Road From Trenowah Road To Vounder Clay Works, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th July 2026 to 29th July 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Vounder Clay Works To Grey Farm, Road From Trenowah Road To Vounder Clay Works, St Austell from junction with Lane To Restineas Cottage to near Eden Yard Backpackers.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Pentewan Hill To Watering Lane Nurseries, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th July 2026 to 15th July 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Pentewan Hill To Watering Lane Nurseries, St Austell from outside property Sea Barn to approximately 10 metres north east. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (Road From Barton Lane To Fraddon Hill, Fraddon) Temporary Prohibition of Stopping Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Fraddon. 

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. 

This prohibition is necessary for highway improvement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th July 2026 to 18th September 2026. 

Road subject to stopping prohibition - Road From Barton Lane To Fraddon Hill, Fraddon from junction with Parka Road to junction with Willowbank. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 0700 and 1800, weekdays only.

The County of Cornwall (Road From My Lords Road To Seaview Terrace, Seaview Terrace, Road From Junction North East Of Cregan Gate To District Boundary South Of Seaview Terrace, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Newquay. 

This prohibition is necessary for patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd August 2026 to 22nd August 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. Roads affected - Road From My Lords Road To Seaview Terrace, Seaview Terrace for their entire lengths, Road From Junction North East Of Cregan Gate To District Boundary South Of Seaview Terrace from Seaview Terrace to the A3058, Newquay.

The County of Cornwall (St Georges Road, Nanpean) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Nanpean. 

This prohibition is necessary for installation of new gravity fed infrastructure and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th July 2026 to 24th August 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - St Georges Road, Nanpean from junction with Access To Drinnick Terrace to junction with Old Pound.

The County of Cornwall (Footpath 36 and Footpath 38, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Newquay. 

This prohibition is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public during Boardmasters Festival 2026 and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th July 2026 to 18th August 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Public right of way affected - Footpath 36 and Footpath 38 in the Parish of Newquay for their entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Tywardreath. 

This prohibition is necessary for carriageway edge repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th July 2026 to 29th July 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only. Roads affected - Mount Bennett Road, Chapeldown, Castledore Road, Tywardreath between St Sampsons Close and Chapeldown junction. An alternative route will be signed on site.
