(Link Footpath F60237 Geraldine Road to St Andrews Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F60237 Geraldine Rd (os School Entrance) to St Andrews Rd from its junction with U63110 St Andrews Rd to its junction with U63120 Geraldine Rd.

Reason: Development works by Stave-Con.

Alternative route: U63120 Geraldine Rd, B4211 Barnards Green Rd, U63110 Court Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 20 days (24hrs). Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(C2205 Tanhouse Lane, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2205 Tanhouse Ln from its junction with U63442 Eastward Rd to its junction with U63464 Bronsil Dr.

Reason: Remedial works by STW.

Alternative route: C2205 Upper Howsell Rd, C2205 Howsell Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, B4503 Leigh Sinton Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 June 2026.

(U63527 Hornyold Road & U63532 St. Peters Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1.) U63527 Hornyold Road from its junction with U63526 Hornyold Ave for a distance of 112 metres in a northerly westerly direction.

2.) U63532 St. Peters Road from its junction with U63534 Blackmore Rd to its junction with U63527 Hornyold Rd.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U63527 St Peters Rd, U63534 Blackmans Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, U63526 Hornyold Ave and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days (24hrs) commencing 21 July 2026.

(C2207 Old Hollow, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2207 Old Hollow from its junction with U63547 Lower Rd to its junction with B4232 West Malvern Rd.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Rd, B4232 North Malvern Rd, B4219 Cowleigh Rd, C2207 Old Hollow (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 30 June 2026.

(C2110 Birts Street, Birtsmorton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2110 Birts St from its junction with B4208 Birtsmorton to its junction with U61401 Birts St.

Reason: Sewer Works by STW.

Alternative route: B4208 Birtsmorton, B4208 Castlemorton, C2098 Church Rd, U61401 Castlemorton, U61401 Birts St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 June 2026.

(B4232 West Malvern Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4232 West Malvern Rd from its junction with U63546 Ebrington Rd to its junction with U63548 Mathon Rd.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Rd (part), B4232 North Malvern Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, A449 Wells Rd, B4218 Wyche Rd into Herefordshire, B4232 West Malvern Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 19 July 2026.

(U63110 St Andrews Road/U63110 Court Road/U63106 Thirlstane Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of

1.) U63110 St. Andrews Rd from its junction with U63106 Thirlstane Rd to its junction with U63147 Fraser Cl.

2.) U63110 Court Rd from its junction with U63106 Thirlstane Rd to its junction with U63111 Woodshears Rd.

3.) U63106 Thirlstane Rd from its junction with U63110 St. Andrews Rd to its junction with Percy Walton Cl (private road).

Reason: Carriageway reconstruction by Bromford Homes.

No access for the emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.

Alternative route: Diversion 1: U63110 St. Andrews Rd–U63110 St. Andrews Rd (part), U63000 Peachfield Rd, B4208 Poolbrook Rd, B4211 Barnards Green Rd, U63110 Court Rd and vice versa.

Diversion 2: U63110 Court Rd–U63110 Court Road (part), B4211 Barnards Green Rd, B4208 Poolbrook Rd, U63000 Peachfield Rd, U63110 St. Andrews Rd and vice versa.

Diversion 3: U63106 Thirlstane Rd–U63106 Thirlstane Rd (part), U63105 College Rd, U63103 Priory Rd, U63111 Woodshears Rd, U63110 Court Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 20 days (24hrs). Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(A4103 Leigh Sinton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of A4103 Leigh Sinton from its junction with B4503 Malvern Rd to its junction with C2206 Stocks Ln.

Reason: Installation of a combined drainage outfall by Shannonside Civil Engineering.

No access for emergency services diversion route needs to be followed.

Alternative route: A4103 Leigh Sinton (part), A4103 Bransford, A44 Bromyard Rd, A44 Broadwas, A44 Darbys Green, A44 Worcester Rd into Herefordshire, A4103 Storridge, A4103 Dragons Cross Rd to Hereford Rd, A4103 Leigh Sinton (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days (24hrs). Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(C2098 Church Road, Castlemorton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2098 Church Rd from its junction with U61027 Castlemorton for a distance of 63 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: C2098 Castlemorton, C2098 Welland Stone, C2098 Longdon Heath, B4211 Tunnel Hill, A4104 Welland Rd, A4104 Drake St, B4208 Castlemorton Common, B4208 Castlemorton, C2098 Church Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 20 July 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Malvern Hills District (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2026 (Limited Waiting on Taxi Ranks in Wells Road and Edith Walk, Malvern)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to limit waiting 1 hour 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Sat, no return within 1 hour on the following sides and lengths of roads in Malvern:-

Wells Road, Malvern (west side): from a point 20.5m south of its junction with Church Street for a distance of 18m in a southerly direction

Edith Walk, Malvern (south side): from a point 14.5m west of its junction with Back Lane for a distance of 15.3m in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(Bridleway AD-546, Astley & Dunley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Proposed Order: To close Bridleway AD-546, Astley & Dunley from its junction with U11105 Marlborough Drive to its junction with Bridleway AD-545 & AD-547, Astley & Dunley.

The Order has been made to facilitate vehicles, plant, and site machinery associated with a housing development.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route:

Pedestrians: Footpath AD545, B4196, U11100, U11105 and vice versa.

Bridleway: Bridleway AD-547, U64214 Larford Lane, B4196, U11100, U11105 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 18 July 2026.
