SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – STEWARTS ROAD SW8

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Stewarts Road to facilitate a Network Rail Bridge Inspection works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Stewarts Road from the junction with Wadhurst Road to the junction with Ascalon Street. There will be no waiting 01:00 - 06:00. (Night works)

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 6 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 8 July 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – GATTON ROAD SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Gatton Road to facilitate Thames Water Mains Replacement.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Gatton Road from outside number 1A to the junction with Tooting High Street. The one-way restriction will also be removed to maintain access. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 30 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 July 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Longmead Road to facilitate a Crane Operation.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longmead Road from the junction with Ashvale Road to the junction with Mitcham Road. There will be no waiting 00:30–05:30.

    1. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    2. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

    3. The order will come into operation on 30 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 2 July 2026.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longwood Drive from the Junction of Roehampton High Street to the junction of Westmead (Full Closure). There will be no waiting at any time.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    5. The order will come into operation on 29 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 8 July 2026.

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Thessaly Road to facilitate Happy Streets festival.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Thessaly Road from the junction with Ascalon Street to the junction with Corunna Road. There will be no waiting 07:00 - 21:00.

    3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

    4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

    5. The order will come into operation on 4 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 4 July 2026.

    PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

    YELVERTON ROAD, BATTERSEA, SW11

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

    *The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. **) Order 202*

    *The Wandsworth (Loading Bays) (No. ) Order 202*

    *The Wandsworth (Battersea)(Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202*

    The Wandsworth (Restricted Zone) (Yelverton Road) Order 202*

    1. The general effects of the Orders are: –

      (a) The installation of double yellow lines on the eastern and western sides and at the southern end of Yelverton Road west of the building from a point 13m north of the Yelverton Road/Holman Road simple priority bell-mouth junction to the southern end of Yelverton Road where it meets York Road via a pedestrian and cycle only access point, a distance of 61m in a southerly direction.

      (b) Removal of 6m x 2m of CPZ parking bay on the eastern side of Yelverton Road at a point 13m north of the Yelverton Road/Bardric Court access junction and its replacement with double yellow lines.

      (c) The installation of one loading bay on the carriageway on the eastern side of Yelverton Road at a point approximately 24.5m south of the mid-point of the Yelverton Road/Holman Road junction operating Mon-Sun, maximum stay 40 minutes, no return within one hour.

      (d) Installation at the northern edge of the Yelverton Road/Bardric Court access junction of a Restricted Zone with no vehicular parking or loading at any time except for in marked out parking and loading bays.

    2. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

    3. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
