PROPOSED MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6. 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*

• The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bec) (Parking Places) (No.*) Order 202*

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:–

(a) to redesignate the end 5 metre section of shared use parking bay to provide a new (4.5m long x 2m wide) street trading pitch with a 0.5 metre length of single yellow line, on the south-western side of the north-west to south-east part of Hillbury Road close to Keepers Lodge, Tooting Bec Common;

(b) To introduce lengths of double yellow lines – no waiting at any time in St Anthony’s Close outside Nos 15 and 16 and outside Nos. 1-4.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in the Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – CLARENDON DRIVE SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Clarendon Drive to facilitate Removal of a Tower Crane.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Clarendon Drive, between the junction with Gamlen Road and the junction with Charlmont Road. There will be no waiting 07:00 -19:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 11 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 11 July 2026.

SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – KELMSCOTT ROAD SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Kelmscott Road to facilitate a Mobile Crane Operation.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Kelmscott Road from the junction with Bolingbroke Grove to the junction with Northcote Road, the footway adjacent to the Crane will also be closed for the duration of the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained via banksmen. There will be no waiting 08:00 -16:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 6 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 6 July 2026.

SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – MITCHAM LANE SW16

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Mitcham Lane to facilitate Telecom utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place on Mitcham Lane, the footway & cycle lane will be closed outside numbers 130-136. There will be no waiting 08:00 -13:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 11 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 11 July 2026.

SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – STAG LANE SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Stag Lane to facilitate Removal and Install of an Electrical Cabinet.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Stag Lane in the northbound direction between lamp columns 16 -20. The footway will also be closed for the duration of the works. There will be no waiting 07:00 - 17:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 9 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 9 July 2026.
