Temporary Closure of Wyville Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wyville Road - from the junction with Whitestone Road to the junction with Woodhayes Road. A total distance of 110 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out ducting works. Closure will be in force between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.

The Order becomes effective on 10th July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th July 2026 and last until 15th July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days.
