Temporary Road Closure

Rosemary Lane & PROW 80, Mortlake.

    1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate meter installation works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Rosemary Lane & PROW 80, Mortlake.

    1. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Rosemary Lane from outside numbers 3–5 Rosemary Terrace and PROW 80 will also be closed.

    1. The order will come into effect 25 June 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 25 June to 26 June 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

    1. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

    1. Nothing in the Order applies to:

        • (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

        • (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

      • (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  1. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

    1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Strawberry Hill Road, Twickenham.

    1. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Strawberry Hill Road, Twickenham from the junction with Downside to the boundary wall of number 3.

    1. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available Strawberry Hill Road, Waldegrave Road, Waldegrave Gardens, Tower Road and vice versa.

    1. The order will come into effect 27 June 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 June to 28 June 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

    1. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

    1. Nothing in the Order applies to:
