(HAMMERSMITH GROVE) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate works to the highway in the above-named location; it intends to make an Order the effect of which temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce "at any time" waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.
2. Whilst works are in progress or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn right from Goldhawk Road into Hammersmith Grove between 27th July 2026 and 30th August 2026.
3. Whilst works are in progress or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, stop, wait, load or proceed in Hammersmith Grove from No. 244 Hammersmith Grove to its junction with Goldhawk Road between 31st August 2026 and 8th September 2026.
4. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 and 3 shall be provided via Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush Green, Uxbridge Road and Shepherds Bush Road.
5. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
6. The Order would come into operation on the 27th July 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
7. Works would be expected to commence on Monday 27th July 2026 and last to the 31st August 2026. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
