PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order, made on 5th February 2025, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the footpath running from the pasture to the south of the dwelling (the former camping barn), continuing to the southern boundary of the dwelling, where it crosses a ditch and continues through the private grounds of the dwelling, immediately to the east of the house, and on to meet Fish House Lane, to a new line starting from the pasture to the south of the dwelling, to turn in a NNW direction over a ditch-crossing, at a point 10m to the W of the existing crossing, continuing NNW alongside the W side of the boundary hedge, to turn NE onto a track and thence to Fish House Lane, as shown on the Order Map.

The Order will amend the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Lancashire accordingly.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Ribble Valley Borough Council and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/FJ4/888_4081) not later than 28 July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
