TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000 150951516 : The City of Manchester (Stockport Road, Levenshulme Ward) (Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Stockport Road, From Yew Tree Avenue to The Crescent.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition) is necessary in order to facilitate Maintenance and repairs to the Telecommunication Pole.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 13th July 2026 to 15th July 2026.
The order shall come into operation on 13th July 2026and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
