THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (HOUNSLOW) RED ROUTE (CLEARWAY) CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A4 GLA SIDE ROAD (WOOD LANE) VARIATION ORDER 2026

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (HOUNSLOW) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A4 GLA SIDE ROADS (WOOD LANE AND BERKELEY AVENUE) VARIATION ORDER 2026

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

(1) remove Clearway restrictions on Wood Lane between its junction with Great West Road and the common building line of Nos.122 and 124 Wood Lane and replace with double red lines, No Stopping at Anytime, Red Route restrictions;

(2) remove Clearway restrictions on Wood Lane between its junction with Great West Road and a point 9 metres south the northern building line of No.793 Great West Road and replace with double red lines, No Stopping at Anytime, Red Route restrictions;

(3) change the hours of operation of the Parking bays outside Nos.724-726 Bath Road, Berkeley Avenue and outside Nos.728-730 Bath Road, Berkeley Avenue from Parking Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm 1 hour No return within 2 hours to Parking Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm 30 mins No return within 1 hour.

3. The roads which would be affected by the Orders are the A4 GLA Side Roads – Wood Lane and Berkeley Road in the London Borough of Hounslow.

A copy of the Orders, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Order(s) revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference the Traffic Order relates to or by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below. To arrange an appointment please email trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk. Copies of the documents may be requested via email at trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk, or by post at the following address quoting reference SNO/REGULATION/STOT/BS/TRO, GLA/2026/0532-0533.

5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ or by emailing trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk, quoting reference SNO/REGULATION/STOT/BS/TRO, GLA/2026/0532-0533, to arrive before 16th July 2026. Please note due to hybrid working access to post is restricted and requests for documents and confirmation of your objections or representations may be delayed. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
