ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) 

Cross Green Road, Cross Green, Leeds 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road closure and speed limit reduction to facilitate gas mains replacement works being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cross Green Road, Cross Green, Leeds in the Burmantofts & Richmond Hill Ward slip at its junctions with Cross Green Lane to side of 123 Cross Green Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cross Green Lane, Cross Green Crescent, Cross Green Avenue and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 7th July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 20th July 2026.
