AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

OXFORD ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works on behalf of SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Oxford Road.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oxford Road will be closed outside Nos. 22 and 24 Oxford Road adjacent to its junction with Naseby Road.
  3. The Order will come into operation on 13 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately fifteen days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
  4. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Naseby Road, Dover Road and reversed.
  5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
    (a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
    (b) a vehicle attending for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

RIDDLESDOWN ROAD, PURLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE THAT to facilitate a bridge inspection of railway bridge VTB2/76, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Riddlesdown Road.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Riddlesdown Road will be closed overnight between its junction with Brancaster Lane and a point 65 metres north of that junction.
  3. During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be via Brancaster Lane, Purley Bury Avenue, Purley Downs Road and reversed.
  4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
    (a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
  5. The Order will come into operation at 10pm on 09 July 2026 and it is anticipated that the work will be completed at 6am on 10 July 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Selsdon Road.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Selsdon Road, South Croydon, will be closed southbound between the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 7 Ruskin Parade, Selsdon Road, and its junction with Cliffe Road.
  3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be as detailed below.

• Via Bartlett Street, Brighton Road, South End, High Street, Fell Road slip road, Barclay Road roundabout, Park Lane, and St Peter's Road.

  1. The Order will come into operation on 15 July 2026 and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 21 July 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
  2. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to the premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

WOODMANSTERNE ROAD, COULSDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the positioning of a crane for plant removal, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Woodmansterne Road, Coulsdon.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Woodmansterne Road will be closed between its junctions with St Andrews Road and Southwood Avenue.
  3. During the closure the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Bramley Avenue and Southwood Avenue.
  4. The Order will come into operation on 11 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 12 July 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
  5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to the premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

LLOYD PARK AVENUE, CROYDON

RACE FOR LIFE - ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the holding of a ‘Race for Life’ in Lloyd Park they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Lloyd Park Avenue, at its junction with Coombe Road.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 28 June 2026 and will remain in force for one day.
  3. The closure of Lloyd Park Avenue will be enforced by stewards and access will be maintained for residents of the road.
  4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to the premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
