Kent Lane, Ringwood, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Kent Lane between its junction with Harbridge Drove and its junction with Salisbury Road. (These works will be completed in phases)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ringwood Road, Bridge Street, High Street, Provost Street, Church Street, Bowerwood Road, Fordingbridge Road, Hillbury Road, Harbridge Drove.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 15th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day). The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Excalon to complete utility works.
