PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 39 (PART) IPSTONES PARISH
TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 30/6/26 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 39 Ipstones Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 104 Ipstones Parish for approximately 309 metres in a south westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 40 Ipstones Parish, at Upper Lady Meadows.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to an unsafe bridge and stile.

An alternative route is available by using Public Footpath No. 104 and No. 40 Ipstones Parish. 

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 3/7/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier.

If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
