TEMPORARY CLOSURE C47 LEY LANE
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily
close part of the C47 Ley Lane from outside the property known as ‘Leycourt Farm’ to outside of the property known as ‘Green Farm’ for a distance of approximately 775 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for level crossing maintenance works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 7th July 2026 until 8th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works
have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(CINDERFORD TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403062 Trinity Way from outside the property known as No. 17a’ to outside of the property known as ‘No. 34’ for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed from 6th July 2026 until 31st July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 405031 ROAD FROM JUNCTION AT FERNS TO JUNCTION WITH NEW ROAD
(LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405031 Road from junction at Ferns to junction with New Road from outside of the property known as ‘The Ferns’ to its junction with the property known as Pear Tree Cottage for a distance of approximately 480 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works by the National Grid.
The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:00hrs on 8th July 2026 until 18:00hrs on 15th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen
months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is for pole renewal works.
The said road is expected to be between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 20th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this

temporarily close part of the C26 Road from Reddinhorn Cottage to County Boundary from its junction with ‘English Bicknor Public Footpath 2’ to its
junction with the County Boundary for a distance of approximately 260 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:00hrs on 21st July
2026 until 16:00hrs on 22nd July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to
eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever
is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400201 Ampney Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Woodham Cottage’ extending in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 90 metres. The reason for the said closure is for ditching works. There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 20th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in
force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS RWD 59 AND FLY 96 (WEST DEAN PARISH & LYDNEY TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths RWD 59 and FLY 96 as described in the schedule below;
Schedule
Public Footpath RWD 59 from its junction with New Road B4234 extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 80 metres to its junction with Public Footpath FLY 96.
Public Footpath FLY 96 from its junction with RWD 59 extending in a
generally southerly direction for approximately 10 metres to its junction with
public footpath FLY 1.
The closure is necessary to protect the public due to piling works being undertaken on the highway. The said Order came into force on the 1st February 2026 and was expected to close until the 1st August 2026. However, the works have still not been completed, and the Secretary of State has granted an extension until 1st February 2027 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C8 Church Road from its junction with the High Street to Road from junction at Upper Old Bargains Wood to outside of the property known as ‘Lodge Farm’ for a distance of approximately 1.600 kilometres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 21st July 2026 to 23rd July 2026 or
