Leintwardine - Temporary Road Closure Due To Frame & Cover Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:

A4110 From C1017 To Walford Road Via Adforton, Leintwardine, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A4110 From C1017 To Walford Road Via Adforton, Leintwardine, outside properties; Stanway Bungalow, Shop Cottages and Old Bank Farm. Grid Ref: 340176/271046 to 340296/270961. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A44 onto the B4361 onto Southern Avenue onto the A49 onto the A4113 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to frame and cover works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
