Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

GRAVESHAM AREA

THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, GRAVESHAM) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2025
(AMENDMENT No.9) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The effect of the Order is to remove current parking bays and introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in- Gravesend, Gravesham:-

MILTON PLACE – DYL - (1) On its east side opposite the northern boundary of 6 Milton Place for a distance of 14 metres into the new development. (2) On its east side opposite the northern boundary of 10 Milton Place for a distance of 14 metres.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2026

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is given that The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order:-

The effect of the made named Order will be to:-

a. consolidate all stopping, waiting and loading prohibitions and restrictions and parking place provisions in all roads within the District of Sevenoaks as marked and signed on street; and

b. present the provisions for all stopping, waiting and loading prohibitions and restrictions and parking places in a new Map-based Traffic Regulation Order without change to those provisions, as currently marked and signed on street.

The Order was made on 2 July 2026 and its provisions will come into effect on 3 July 2026.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, TONBRIDGE AND MALLING)
(SPEED LIMITS) (consolidation) ORDER 2025
(AMENDMENT No.4) ORDER 2026

Notice is given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL hereby propose to make the above named Order under sections under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act:

The effect of the Order will be to implement a 20MPH and 40MPH speed limit on the following length of roads in Offham, Tonbridge & Malling:

CHURCH ROAD – 20MPH - From its junction with Teston Road for a distance of 580 metres in a northerly direction. COMP LANE – 20MPH – From its junction with Teston Road for a distance of 68 metres in a south westerly direction. NORTH MEADOW, PEPINGSTRAW CLOSE – 20mph – For their entire length. TESTON ROAD – 20MPH – (1) From a point 125 metres west of its junction with Barfield Gardens for a distance of 1184 metres in an easterly direction. 40MPH – (2) From a point 204 metres east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of 415 metres in an easterly direction. (3) From a point 5 metres west of its junction with Aldon Lane for a distance of 733 metres in a westerly direction. TOWER HILL – 20MPH – From its junction with Teston Road for a distance of 332 metres in a southerly direction.

NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to replace the current speed limit with a 30MPH speed limit Tunbridge Wells on the following length of road:-
