What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL BANCHORY – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C15m, Finzean,
Banchory – 29.06.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 29.06.26 for a period of 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C15m, Finzean, Banchory on the section at the junction next to Birse and Feughside Church.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to water connection works. An alternative route is available via the C15m (Banchory), B976 (Banchory), C15m (Banchory) and vice versa.
