NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: Church Street & Homend Crescent, Temporary Road Closure Order 2026, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on Church Street & Homend Crescent, from The Garth to Upperhall Close. Grid Ref: 371222/237893 to 371481/237849.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Church Street onto The Homend onto Bank Crescent and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
