Hollow Farm Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72009 Hollow Farm Road, Dinedor, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72009-Hollow Farm Road- Dinedor, Hollow Farm Road. Grid Ref: 353685/236661.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Dinedor Cross Road From C1261 To Hollow Farm Road C1261 From Bogmarsh Lane To Upper Bowl Cottage onto the C1261 Bogmarsh Lane To Knapp Green onto Green Lane onto the C1266 From B4339 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
