What is happening?

NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL
SOUTERHOUSE ROAD, COATBRIDGE PROPOSED 
(WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 20** 

Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to implement waiting and loading restrictions in order to improve the safety, maintain free flow of traffic, and maintain reasonable access to premises:-

No waiting and no loading at anytime
Length(s) of Road in the region of
North Lanarkshire
Side of road to which restriction applies
Souterhouse Road
From the south kerbline of Dundyvan Road
southwards for a distance 50 metres, or thereby,
including 10 metres into access.
East
From the south kerbline of Dundyvan Road
southwards for a distance of 114 metres, or thereby, including up to 9 metres into accesses.
West
From the extended west kerbline of Dundyvan Way westwards for a distance of 13 metres, or thereby Both

Full details of the draft Traffic Regulation Order, which form the proposed North Lanarkshire Council (Souterhouse Road, Coatbridge) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Order 20** together with plans, a statement of reasons are available for inspection on the Council’s website at https://www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/your-community/working-communities/consultations or alternatively a hard copy is available for inspection during normal office hours, Monday to Friday inclusive, at the office of the Chief Officer (Legal, Democratic and Strategy), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB.

Any person wishing to make representations in support of, or raise an objection to, the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer (Legal, Democratic and Strategy), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 29 July 2026 and must contain the name and address of the person making the representation/ objection, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
