TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401508 ROAD FROM YEW TREE IN CHERRINGTON TO NAGS HEAD (CHERRINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401508 Road from Yew Tree Inn Cherrington to Nags Head, from its junction with Westrip Farm Lane to its junction with Nags Head Lane for a distance of approximately 450 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for ditching works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 27th June 2026 until 29th June 2026 only.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 500922 Mill Lane, from its junction with Kelmscott Road to its junction with Faringdon Road for a distance of approximately 1277 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for wall rebuild works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 29th June 2026 until 7th August 2026 only.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400927 FOSSCROSS LANE TO BARNSLEY ROAD (WINSON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400927 Fosscross Lane to Barnsley Road from its junction with Fosscross Lane to its junction with the Road from Back Barns to Cirencester Lodge for a distance of approximately 1.014 kilometres.

The reason for the said closure is for a new water connection.

The said road is expected to be closed from 30th June 2026 until 4th July 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closures is to allow for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 from 1st July 2026 until 14th July 2026 only or until the works are complete.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st July 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th June 2027. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(VARIOUS ROADS IN THE CHESTERTON AREA OF CIRENCESTER TOWN OF CIRENCESTER) (COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed waiting restrictions detailed in the Schedule below on various roads in the Chesterton area of Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
