(U44600 Fairfield Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U44600 Fairfield Rd from its junction with U44607 Elizabeth Rd to its junction with Four Pools Ln (NSG Ref 5400545).

Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: U44600 Fairfield Rd (part), A4184 Cheltenham Rd, B4035 Waterside, U44621 Coopers Ln, U44617 Durcott Rd, U44600 Four Pools Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 25 days.

Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(B4082 Main Street, Pinvin) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4082 Main St from its junction with A44 Allens Hill to its junction with U47420 Church Ln.

Reason: Gas works by Wales and West Utilities.

Alternative route: A44 Allens Hill, A44 Evesham Rd, A422 Alcester Rd, A422 Worcester Rd, B4082 Pershore Rd, B4082 Naunton Rd, B4082 Upton Snodsbury Rd, B4082 Main St (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 40 days (24hr). Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(U44407 Brick Kiln Street, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Borough of Evesham) (Traffic Regulation) Order, 1970 (Temporary Suspension (Part)) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U44407 Brick Kiln St from a point 139 metres north of its junction with U44406 Bewdley St to its junction with U44413 Avon St and to temporarily suspend Schedule 6 Item 4 of The County of Worcester (Borough of Evesham) (Traffic Regulation) Order, 1970 to allow two-way traffic on U44407 Brick Kiln St to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Cabling work by Openreach.

Alternative route: U44406 Bewdley St, U44410 Henry St, U44413 Avon St.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 30 June 2026.

(B4082 Upton Snodsbury Road, Pinvin) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of B4082 Upton Snodsbury Rd from its junction with Coats Dr (NSG Ref 45406022) to its junction with C2270 Long Ln.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Wales & West Utilities.

Alternative route: B4082 Main Rd, A44 Allens Hill, A44 Evesham Rd, A422 Alcester Rd, A422 Worcester Rd, B4082 Pershore Rd, B4082 Naunton Rd, B4082 Upton Snodsbury Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 27 June 2026.

(C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Lane, Sheriffs Lench) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Ln from a point 70 metres southwest of its junction with U43606 Evesham Rd for a distance of 140 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by National Grid.

Alternative route: U43606 Evesham Rd, C2263 Ab Lench Rd, U43605 Abbots Lench Rd, C2022 Broad Ln to Rous Lench, C2022 Hill Furze Rd, C2117 Hill Furze, C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 20 July 2026.

(C2022 Station Road, Fladbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2022 Station Rd from its junction with A44 Evesham Rd to its junction with U44223 Butt Furlong.

Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: A44 Evesham Rd, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A4104 Aintree Rd, A4104 Wyre Rd, A4104 Station Rd, B4084 High St, B4084 Bridge St, B4084 Evesham Rd, B4084 Main Rd, C2022 Brook Ln, C2022 Church Leys, C2022 Neigh Ln to The Strand, C2022 Mill Bank and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days between 20 July 2026 and 7 August 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(District of Wychavon – Evesham Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Medway Road and Clyde Avenue, Evesham]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Evesham:-

Medway Road (north side): from its junction with Broadway Road for a distance of 118 metres in an easterly direction.

Medway Road (south side): from its junction with Broadway Road in an easterly direction to a point 15 metres east of its junction with Clyde Avenue.

Clyde Avenue (both side): from its junction with Medway Road for a distance of 14 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
