THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (DALE STREET, RADCLIFFE) (BUS PARKING PLACE) ORDER 2026 (Order)
- The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Council) gives notice that it has made an Order under section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) on 15 June 2026 the effect of which is as follows:
1.1 The introduction of limited waiting for buses (operational at all times, 2 hours, no returns within 1 hour) within the designated parking place in the Schedule below:

- The Order comes into operation on 26 June 2026.
- A copy of the Order as made, plans showing the parts of the highway affected and a statement of the traffic authority's reasons for making the Order may be requested by email at traffic@bury.gov.uk quoting reference TM2/24/556 or inspected free of charge at the Reception, Town Hall, Knowsley Street, Bury BL9 0SW between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays and public holidays).
- Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the RTRA 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 15 June 2026.
