THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BLACKBURN STREET, CHURCH STREET, RADCLIFFE) (ON STREET DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING (RESTRICTION OF LOADING/UNLOADING) AND (REVOCATION) AND (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 (Order)

  1. The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Council) gives notice that it has made an Order under section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) on 15 June 2026 the effect of which is as follows:

1.1 the introduction of on street disabled persons parking places within the designated parking place in the Schedule below:

1.2 the introduction of no waiting and no loading at any time:

Blackburn Street, Radcliffe – southwest side from a point 109.2m northwest of the northwesterly kerbline of Mill Bank for a distance of 4.5m in a northwesterly direction.

1.3 This Order also makes the following revocations:

The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Blackburn Street, Radcliffe)(On Street Disabled Persons Parking Places) Order 2010 is hereby revoked.

The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Dale Street, Radcliffe) (Disabled Persons Parking Place) Order 1996 is hereby revoked.
