What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.  
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Kingsfernsden Lane & Reservoir Lane between its junction with Tilmore Gardens and a point approximately 80 Metres South-East of its junction with Long Road. Long Road between its junction with Kingsfernsden Lane and its junction with Waterworks Road.  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: School Lane, Farnham Road, Inhams Lane, A272, B2070, Station Road, Tilmore Road  
DURATION OF ORDER: from 13th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).  
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Network Rail to carry out barrier annual LX75. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nr@centuriontraffic.com  
Network Rail will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
